TIP 1: Treat it like a selfie!
Great photo booths are just like big selfie machines. As you take your picture, you will be able to see yourself and pose to get the best photo.
TIP 2: Get in the photo!
If you can’t see yourself on the screen, the camera can’t see you either. If you are not in the frame of the photo or you are off the center, get moving! Move around to get into the frame and find your best angle. Move towards or away from the screen to take up more or less space in the photo.
TIP 3: Make it fun!
You are not taking your passport photo. Don’t be afraid to make more than one expression and make them fun! Three photos are taken during each session, each of them preceded by a countdown: 3 … 2 … 1… CLICK. Think about what you want to do while waiting in line or before you start the session. For example: make a funny face, make a scary face, give someone a kiss. Be creative and have fun with it.
TIP 4: Take advantage of the props!
Photo booths are fun not just because of the photos but also because of all the fun props. This is your chance to express your personality. Are you a Viking fan? Grab one of our Viking hats. Are you a little shy? Hide behind one of our gigantic sunglasses.
TIP 5: Avoid beverages while taking pictures.
It’s difficult to pose while holding a drink in your hands. Holding your drink while having fun inside the photo booth can lead to spills on the floor or on someone else’s beautiful clothes and no one wants that.
TIP 6: Don’t take it too seriously!
Is your photo not looking the way you wanted? No worries, you can try again. And again. And again. With our unlimited sessions photo booth, you can re-take your photos until you get it right.
